I have Classic Shell 4.3.0 installed on three machines. W10 Pro x32, W10 Pro x64, and W10 Home x64. On the two W10 Pro machines, when I click "Start > Shutdown", it displays a menu with "Shutdown" as the default, and several other options selectable. On the W10 Home machine, it just shuts down, which is annoying. When I want to restart, I have to Click "Start" and then click the right arrow next to "Shutdown" to get a menu with the options. The first method is similar to WXP, whereas the second is similar to W7. Is this a nuance of W10, or is there some Classic Shell setting that is different between the three machines? |

From classic shells settings (right click on the start button and click settings For classic/classic 2 column Check 'show all settings' go to the 'Customize start menu' tab and scroll down till you see the 'shutdown' item on the left. double click, and then where it says 'command' change that to shutdown_box from the dropdown For the windows 7 style: type 'shut' into the search-box and all related options should be shown |

Thank you. It turns out the solution was even simpler. On the W10 Pro machines, I have "Classic with two columns" selected. On the W10 Home machine, I had "Windows 7 Style", which is (obviously) why it behaved like Windows 7. Changing it to "Classic with two columns" gave me the "Shut Down" menu that I want. |
