yes, i just downloaded your new 4.3.0 that is supposed to run on that crappy new shit called windows 10 anniversary. I have that stupid thing called windows smart screen shut off as well and UAC set to "I control what i do on my computer not some darn OS company" setting. Sorry but i get pissed when damn software pricks change my settings. i don't change their settings on their stuff. IT'S quite irritating of them. When i double click the icon, i get the setup screen for less than 5 seconds... so i did that a bunch of times to try to see what i was missing. Now i also uninstalled through Ccleaner v5.20.5668 90% of the new crap that came in the windows 10 anniversary upgrade. I don't need or like that stuff on my computers. it's all a waste of time. I know that i unistalled that "app installer". Do i need that thing to install a program such as yours? Thanks for an viable solutions to this. I really enjoyed the "Classic Shell" before the damn things at microsoft decided to tell me what im going to use on my darn computer!!! |

So what is the issue you are currently facing now? You cannot install Classic Shell on Windows 10 Anniversary Update? Has your PC already updated and it removed Classic Shell? |

It is very likely you got hit by the hack. That's why the smart screen was trying really hard to stop you from running the installer. It wasn't an installer, it was a trojan. Here's more info: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6441 Be very careful what you do next. Make sure you have a Windows 10 disk. Follow the instructions in that post to repair your MBR. After you have repaired your Windows, you can download the latest version of Classic Shell from the main page. Before you run it, verify that it has a valid digital signature. |
