In Win10, Classic Start menu indicates the metro apps icons. I want to know the place where the shortcuts of these included. With standard windows application, the shortcut of these is placed on C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs BUT, I cannot find the directory where the shortcut of metro apps. Or, is this information stored in the registry? |

But, in start menu, some shortcut? of cortana still remains. I want to delete it. In the place Gaurav taught, this icon could not be deleted. I think this is in registry setting. |

Microsoft does not allow deleting the Cortana shortcut so you are stuck with it. Maybe in the future Ivo could code a "Hide app" feature in the context menu of the items in the Apps folder, and store the hidden apps in the Registry. |

You could maybe create your own 'apps' folder manually. This would require adding any new apps as you install them though |

Thanks a lot. Yeah, I understand that MS intends to include Cortana as a part of OS itself. But, Cortana is, I think, retrieving tool of personal SENSITIVE information and I do not want to use. When turned off, still running searchUI.exe, then I feel so ugly. Sorry, this is no relation with Classic Shell, and I love it so much.
