I was able to install classic shell but each time I reboot the Win 10 Start Menu returns. Would appreciate help. Thank you. |

Download the Classic Shell Utility from here: http://www.classicshell.net/downloads Then reboot, wait 15 seconds, and check if the Classic Shell menu is still not working. Then run the utility, save a system log, and send it to me. |

The log file indicates that the start menu is already running. Does it not show when you press the Win key? |

Make sure in Classic Start Menu Settings -> Controls tab, "Left click opens" and "Windows key opens" are set to "Classic Start Menu". |

I am having same issue with insider preview build 14257, windows 10 start menu overrides classic shell after a few clicks on the start button |

Insider Preview builds are not supported. Classic Shell will be updated later when a stable finalized release of Windows 10 happens. |
