| Post subject: | Classic Shell start button not working |
I just installed the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14257 on one of my computers. Following the update, the Classic Shell start menu button no longer works. When I left-click the button, nothing happens. When I right-click the button, I am able to exit Classic Shell and it reverts back to the Windows 10 start menu. Restarting the computer made no difference. I ran the Classic Shell installer and did a repair of the installation, but that made no difference. I then uninstalled Classic Shell and reinstalled the program, but the button still does not work. I have version 4.2.5 installed. I've been reading the forums, but so far I haven't found anything that has helped. |

Classic Shell is not compatible with the latest preview builds. Windows has changed in an incompatible way. Once Redstone is officially released, Classic Shell will be updated to work with it. |
