I noticed that quite a lot Right Clicking on Task Bar items won't do anything, or be extremely delayed (not entirely sure if it's delayed or just messing up).
However Shift+Right Click works fine and fast.

I don't really know if Classic Shell is to blame for this or not. Google seems to point towards it being Windows 10 with no real solution.

As Shift+Right Click works though i wonder if it's possible to have that as the original and Shift+Right Click as Windows 10 default?

There is a program called 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, which (among other useful features) reverses the right-click and Shift+right-click. I have used it on 7, 8 and 8.1. It is very likely it also works on 10 as well. Give it a try.

It does work on 10, though somewhat sporadically (I've had it break several times, after updating) But I do continue to use it :)
