| Post subject: | Start Menu - Registry keys |
Hello Is there a full list of the registry keys to modify to change the start menu ? I am trying to use the group policies templates but does not see to be taking affect. I am hoping there is a document showing all available registry keys to change the start menu settings. Thanks |

Unlike the Settings GUI where many of the Settings are live, you have to restart the menu or logoff and logon again after configuring it via Group Policy settings. Directly changing the Registry settings while the menu is running is also not supported, the changes will take effect only after restarting the menu. Only if you use the Settings GUI, many settings will be applied instantly. You can use the Settings GUI and then monitor this Registry branch for what values it changes: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IvoSoft. Look at the Administrative Settings section in the Help file for configuring it for all user accounts. |
