| Post subject: | Shortcuts on desktop |
I tried to drag & drop "simple solitaire" to my desktop....it didn't work AND now I don't see the simple solitaire anywhere on the computer...it was in the Classic Shell start menu. Where did it go? This computer has Windows 8 and I installed Classic Shell. Please help! This is my mom's computer & she loves to play solitaire.

If it's a Modern (Metro) App, then cut the shortcut, create a folder named anything inside %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Application Shortcuts and paste the Metro app shortcut inside that folder. Then it will show in 'Apps' in the Classic Start Menu again. Or if you deleted the shortcut, search for Simple Solitaire on the Start screen and right click it, then choose Pin to Start. |
