Hi there, I'm just new in classicshell configuration. I'm implementing the software in a new citrix xendesktop environment. I want to be able to customize the look and feel per gpo. I imported the admx files and created a policy. I do all settings under the user configuration part. I see that the gpo is getting applied and the registry key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu is written. But this does have no effect on the menu itself. What I do not understand is why the gpo does not write the settings under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu\Settings. What do I do wrong?? Thanks for your help. Kind regards Sven |

Settings under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu\Settings are modified by the Settings UI and are not locked down/disabled. Those under the Policies branch are modified by Group Policy and locked down, so only an Admin can change them. Have you logged off and logged in again from your Windows user account? |
