Press Shift+Win to open the start screen. That's where the tiles are.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I'm looking for a way to get notified (preferably via Growl or something similar) when a Google blog updates. The blog would need to be checked every 20 minutes (at least!) for updates. I was looking around and saw something called Live Tiles. Does this work with Classic Shell? If someone has a suggestion for a program that would allow me to do this while still using Classic Shell then please let me know I am using Win 8.1, IE 11 and Quero Toolbar. |

Classic Shell does not break (or help) the notifications from tiles. |

Ok, so my next question would be... is there any way to integrate tiles into Classic Shell Interface so that I can view the tiles without having to press Shift+Win? |

No, Microsoft does not allow app developers to integrate tiles. |
