Reinstalling windows 10 after unistalled classic shell is the solution!!

Hi all I was an happy user of classic shell on windows 8.1! So, yesterday i've updated my notebook to windows 10 but the start menu won't work (both classic windows 10 and classic shell). So i've tried to unistall classic shell but that won't work. Could you help me? Thanks |

Try to download the Classic Shell Utility: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3uker ... tility.exe, remove Classic Shell using the utility and then download and install latest version of Classic Shell from: http://classicshell.net/downloads/latest Make sure there are no other third party Start Menus installed. |

Hi gaurav, thanks for the fast answer So i've used the utility (without errors occourred), rebooted the machine but at the restart, the windows menu won't work again, even if i click on the windows icon or if i press the windows button on the keyboard. So i've installed the new classic shell and it works, but i want to use the microsft default one (at that time, using classic shell is the only way for use the windows menu right now.) What can i do? P.S. there are no other third party Start Menus installed. Thanks a lot |

Windows 10 menu is well known for breaking on its own. There is nothing you can do that I know of, except make sure your Windows 10 is up-to-date. Use the more reliable Classic Shell menu. |

bad news.... So the last chanche is to unistall classic shell and installing again windows 10.... i'll let you update if it works or not |

Note that installing or uninstalling Classic Shell does not cause the Windows 10 menu to break. It breaks on its own as it is highly unreliable and often unresponsive too. Microsoft's forums are filled with all sorts of complaints about their menu. |
