Yeah, the Midnight skin is definitely closer to what I'm looking for in terms of colors. The Metro skin seems more compatible with the general look and feel of Windows 10, though. Thank you for your answers.

Windows 10 has an option to not use your accent color for Start and taskbar, etc. but it's not honored by Classic Shell's built-in Metro skin, nor does it seem to exist in settings as an option. Would it be possible to have this added? Thanks. |

The whole point of the Metro skin is to use the accent colors. If you want another look, just pick another skin. |

What you are looking for is the "Midnight" skin. When you turn off color for Start Menu and Taskbar both turn black. Midnight skin will give you a similar appearance. If you want the Taskbar colorless too, uncheck "Customize the taskbar" setting on the "Windows 10 Settings" tab of Classic Start Menu settings. (Besides turning off "Show color on Start, taskbar, action center and title bar"). |
