I use Classic Shell under Windows 10. In the Windows 10 Settings tab of Classic Start Menu Settings, I set a custom taskbar color. The problem is, while buttons below the mouse change to a lighter version of the set colour, the background colour of the active window's taskbar button are of the original colour. So the taskbar vs. the active window's taskbar button is an ugly combination while the button label (which for me is the Aero Lite theme's black) is not well visible on the active button. I can't change it without messing up titlebar colours. |

Go to Windows 10 Settings app -> Personalize -> Colors. There is a setting called "Show color on Start, taskbar, action center..". Toggle it. Then active button's color should be different. |
