Is v3.6.6 an upgrade or do I have to do a clean install ? Already have v3.6.5 installed!
Backups of Classic menu + Classic-Explorer are brilliant. They have saved me hours of setting up Classic Shell on numerous PCs ----- PC1: Win7 32bit PC2: Win7 64bit ----- Thanks

All versions of Classic Shell since 2.9.0 can be installed over the earlier one. All settings will always be preserved. No need even to back up settings. That feature is for clean installs. Just install over the existing version and the Windows Installer-based setup will ask to close any components in use (e.g. Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer). The Start Menu will be automatically closed and restarted.

I am a Windows enthusiast and helped a little with Classic Shell's testing and usability/UX feedback.
