It would be great to be able to optionally "Show hidden folders/files" in an item's "Edit Menu Item" dialog.

As a developer, it would be really useful to be able to traverse all the dot folders in my %USERPROFILE% folder right from the Start Menu.

Cheers,
Dave

If you remove the hidden attribute on any file or folder from Windows Explorer, it will show up in the menu. If you set the hidden attribute, it will be hidden.

Sure, I know that.

I have AppData set as unhidden, but I have so many dot folders installed by various frameworks, it's crazy.

So I don't want to see them ALL the time thus they have to be hidden for sanity's sake.

As a workaround I can create shortcuts but they're not traversable, so it would be nice to be able to *force* the original folders' visibility - if possible (it may not even be possible - I don't know how Start Menu sub-menus are rendered).
