Is there a way to resize the start menu or make it smaller or to limit how big it can get? it seems like the start menu is getting bigger each time i add something to the pinned bar, i'm running windows 10 with the windows 7 style and the windows aero skin.

Are you saying that the menu shouldn't get bigger if you pin more items to it? Where would the new items go?

Maybe it would add a scrollbar like it does when you reach the top of the screen? (aka adding a 'max height' parameter)
