is there a way to control the apps that are listed in Classic Shell start menu? it is listing uninstalled apps.

Which OS are you running it on? Windows 8, 8.1 or Windows 10? How did you uninstall the apps - by right click or PowerShell? Which apps is it showing? A screenshot would help.
