If I select "Classic with two columns" (I like a cascading programs menu) I can't find any options for displaying the User Music folder. Pictures, Documents, Downloads, yes, not music.

Go to the Customize Start Menu tab and scroll all the way down in the right column to locate a "Custom" item. Drag it from the right column to the left and position it where you want (for example below Pictures). Then double click it and in the "Edit Menu Item" dialog, you can pick the My Music folder or the Music Library from the LINK: dropdown.

Click OK twice to save settings.

Thanks GauravK, that worked.
Hooray now I can actually do stuff.
Totally identify with your sig BTW. I work with newb end-users most days, the things MS do, do not serve the general public- they serve reviewers, enthusiasts, and graphic designers.
