I'm trying to setup a single column start menu on Server 2012R2. Everything works well for my local user. When I go to the registry to copy the MenuItems1 values, MenuItems1 is not there. If I switch to classic 2 columns then MenuItem2 appears. I would prefer to deploy a single column menu if possible. Thanks! |

The MenuItems1 will appear only if you have customized the menu items. Otherwise it is omitted from the registry. |

I've deselected a couple of items under the Basic Settings tab. Does that count as customizing? |
