Hi after installing classic shell itnever gave any options as to what was available.I have the start button and menu but nothing else to alter or use explorer.Nor does right clicking give access to the settings folder thanks for any advice |

Windows 8/8.1? go to view tab on the new ribbon UI and click options at the end. Then check "classic explorer bar" if its available Pasted from the help file: Quote: The new toolbar doesn’t show up in Explorer automatically after installation. You have to do a few things before you can use it:

Thanks its 8.1 not on about toolbars the Hype says when you install there will be dialogue for one to choose what they want well I got nowt just a start button and windows7 menu I want to choose what I want but there is no settings box anywhere |

Right-click on the start button and select "Settings". |

Locate your install directory, and open "Start Menu Settings" see if that works for ya? maybe somehow the 'right click opens Win+x menu' option got checked. You can search for, and uncheck that if it is checked |

Thanks to all Sorted uninstall reinstall fixed it |
