Just did a Windows 8.1 reinstall, followed by the start menu, classic style. After installing some programs, there are a few in the list and sublists that have the same yellowish orange highlight as the forum rules background above. Didn't have that before, and copying back my previous settings hasn't fixed it. What's the trick? Thanks, |

If you don't want new programs to be highlighted, turn off the setting "Highlight newly installed programs" in the General Behavior tab. |
