Hi, I read that Microsoft is planning to release an update to Windows 8.1 somewhere in September of this year, it's said it will bring back the start menu in a more definite manner than the previous update from 8.0 to 8.1. The question is, will this upcoming change to Windows 8.1 wreak havoc with the installed Classic Shell, luna theme, and XP type start button? |

The new version is called Windows 10. Currently there is only a pre-beta version that is publically available. Classic Shell 4.2.0 works fine with it. However it is not known what the final version will look like, so it is hard to speculate if Classic Shell will work with it or not. |

Oh, that was for last September. Update 1 is already out. Classic Shell 4.1.0 is fully compatible. |
