How do I get the program to populate the left-hand column (classic view) from programs listed in the Start Menu folder? And how do I control the shortcuts for these (other than by changing the first letters via Rename)? Thank you! |

Right-click on a program and select "Pin to start menu (Classic Shell)" to add it to the main menu. Drag and drop the shortcuts with the mouse to change their order. |

Hey, it worked! Thank you! One follow-up question: Do I have to navigate to the executable and pin that, or can I pin any shortcut just as well? |

It is actually recommended to pin shortcuts. If you pin EXEs directly then the jumplists will not work. |
