In the Classical mode the sub-menues can be either set up to scroll if the items do not fully fit, or use multiple columns. But the last column may be mostly or half-empty, but still spans the whole vertical space of the screen. My suggestion is to make the number of items in each column the same and reduce the vertical size accordingly so to eliminate the empty space. ![]() |

It is a neat idea but it is not straight-forward. For example if items are different length, then rearranging the menus may cause the columns to not fit on screen. Also some items may be separators, therefore the calculation how to evenly split the items into columns becomes even more complicated. |

My reasoning is that if the columns fit as they are now, they will fit when the number of items is equated for sure: the both columns will be either shorter than now or the same size. Am I wrong? Currently the both columns stretch the whole height of the screen. If we take some items from the left column it can only become shorter rather than longer... |
