How do I add a shortcut to the "Max recent programs" list. For some reason the new version of "Free Youtube Downloader" does not get added to the list anymore. Nor does it appear in "Programs" or "Apps". The max number is set to 10, but if I delete some of the old shortcuts to make room, the new one still does not appear. I have to manually add a shortcut to my desktop in order to easily get to the program. It used to automatically appear in the list, but not anymore. |

Only shortcuts that exist in the start menu are shown in the recent/frequent list. Also if a program is already pinned to the taskbar it won't show in the frequent list. If you want a shortcut to always show in the start menu, just right-click on it and select "Pin to start menu (Classic Shell)". |
