| Post subject: | Goes to desktop after uninstall |
When I uninstalled classic shell the classic shell desk top remained. Instead of going to the Windows 8 desktop when starting I now go to the old desktop and have to hit the start button to go to the windows 8 desktop. Also any time I use google or other programs it throws me back to the old desktop. How can I fix this? Thanks Darrine |

Looks like you are using Windows 8.1. If so, right-click on the taskbar and choose Properties. Then select the Navigation tab and uncheck the option that goes directly to the desktop after you log in. |
