I want to roll Classic start menu out across a school.
Which of the group policy settings disable the first run experience, so all users have the settings I set in Group Policy
Which policy setting sets the type of button if you replace start button?
thanks

You need to set the "Menu style" policy to prevent the initial popup that asks the user to choose the style.
To change the button to a custom image, set the "Button look" policy to "Custom button" and set the "Button image" to the path to the custom image.

Thanks, I meant select replace start button, and choose Classic (not a custom one)

Sure, then in the "Button look" policy choose the classic option.

On Windows 8.1 you also need to enable the "Replace Start button" policy.
