Hi. Using the Windows 7 skin for Classic Shell with WIN 8.1. Works perfect except ... Is there anyway to change the text of the menu item "Log off" to instead say "Sign off"? Everything else in Windows 8 refers to signing in and signing out (metro, Chrome, Office, etc). The lexicon has shifted to this phrasing. Can I get classic Shell to play along? thanx |

You can change the text Menu.LogOffShort in the StartMEnuL10N.ini file. Keep in mind that you need to run your text file editor as administrator to change that file. Also you will have to reapply the change when you upgrade to a new version. |
