Hello folks,

I've installed Win7 and the version 4.1.0 German of classic shell.
I now searched for 1/2 hour to find a control box for cascading the control panel and the network connections.
Now I've given up and asking the forum. Where is it? hidden? in which sub menu?

I've choosen the classic menu style - so I can find a menu item "Einstellungen" (engl.: settings) in start menu, which is cascading.
But the following entries "Systemsteuerung" (engl.: control panel) and "Netzwerk" (network) are not cascading.

I also tried to enable the cascading menus by right clicking the windows task bar, -> start menu -> customize? (german: Anpassen) -> control panel -> show as menu? (German: Als Menü anzeigen)
The same with network - but nothing changed

In addition it's not possible to group the control panel items vertically and detailed in one row. They are only displayed as big and small icons.

It's a bug or should I choose another start menu style?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my English.

Open Classic Start Menu settings and look on the Special Items (Spezielle Eintrage) tab. There will be settings for the items you want to Display as a menu (Als Menu anzeigen). By Netzwerk I assume you mean Netzwerkverbindungen (Network Connections) and not the Network Explorer item?

Classic Shell can show Control Panel inside a cascading menu but once you open it in Explorer, Control Panel is part of Windows. Classic Shell can't change its view or icon layout.
