I'm using the classic start menu under windows 7, option "small icons" etc.

Is it possible to remove the vertical left blue bar - that is the bar containing
(verticaly) the text "Windows 7Home Premium".

I know what os i'm using.

Under windows xp, that bar came and went with the option "use small icons".

Thanks for any reply

Right click the Start button -> Settings. Enable "All Settings" option and go to the Skin tab. Uncheck "Caption" and click OK.
