Post subject:  Rt Clk 2 Remove recently opened Prgms on Classic Start Menu

I may be dumb or something but I have searched, but have they removed the Right click to remove recently opened Programs In the Start Menu. For 1 I really hope I am not in the Incorrect Forum, and for the Other I know,, I do NOT have a virus. It was a Clean Install I run Kaspersky antivirus, I had to do a Clean Install because of a virus that I had in there for over 2 years and actually didn't know it was there, Kaspersky found it. So can anyone tell me if I'm wrong on 1 or both counts , Thanks.

Classic Start Menu supports 2 kind of program lists - Recent and Frequent. From the Main Menu tab in Settings, you can switch between Recent programs or Frequent programs. The Recent list is maintained by Classic Shell so if you are using it, you can right click any program in the list and do "Clear recent items list".

The Frequent list is maintained by Windows, Classic Start Menu only shows that data. So if you are using the Frequent list, you must clear it using Windows dialogs. Right click the Taskbar -> Properties. Go to the Jump lists tab. Uncheck 'Store recently opened programs' to clear that list.

I'm sorry. but I have fixed my own mess up, I run a program called TweakNow PowerPack I purchased a long time ago. An option to not allow me to clear the recent used programs out was ticked, I am sorry for leaping before I looked! But your answer Made me look in the direction Needed because there were no reason for this,, unless there was an option in the classic shell.but my Windows 8 Notebook does not have this problem.that's why i looked every where through classic shell.
Thank you.
