I have the latest version installed. When I click the Start Button it just sits there black for normally 5~30 secs before it pops up. Sometimes it just locks up & I have to logout to try it again. I can't click anything on the Task Bar. Windows 8.1 update caused the problem. I can uninstall that update & the delay is gone. I have a Lenovo T440s running Windows 8.1 x64. Anyone have a fix ? You could try a capture a slowdown dump using this method: http://www.classicshell.net/forum/viewt ... p?f=12&t=6 Use procdump -n 10 -s 1 explorer.exe since it's for slowdowns, not crashes. |
