Hi folks. I am a new user of classic shell and win81. Discovered Classic Shell and THANK you for this great tool.

I however have tried several times to change the start icon to another png file of windows buttons. Doesnt seem to work as the new icon is either much too large or is split with rendering of the part of the icon only over the task bar. I have tried several different images and several different size settings within the advanced user options and it doesnt seem to matter. is there something I am missing here?

Thanks
Eric

The Start button image needs to contain 3 states of the button as explained in this post: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1583
