Hi, the start menu automatically pops up when I'm working with the mouse somewhere on the screen, even when being in totally different programs. Is there any way to stop that from happening? Thanks - Kirsten

Hi, thanks for you answer.
It's a no: hovering does nothing.
I read myself through all the options, but found nothing which implies why it is constantly popping up. Am considering re-installation, but I thought to give it a go here, first...

maybe something is triggering the windows key to be pressed? try changing the option "Windows Key opens" and see if now the metro UI opens automatically instead theres no in-program reason it should be popping up on its own, however outside influence is a possibility. if your on windows 8 do you have the option "Enable Start button" unchecked? Also while were at it do you have the latest public beta?

Was a solution found to this? I tried unchecking the "Enable Start button" and I do not have it set to open on hover. I have the latest version 4.0.6 I am using Windows 8, 64bit The Start menu randomly opens; I mainly surf the net with my laptop.
