Good day to you! Your work is Great - that's first. Second thing is exactly why I came here. I saw that thanks to ClassicShell you can move Start Menu to appear wherever you like it to appear around the Start button. While on Windows 7 when whole Task panel is on the right side, the Start menu appears ON the panel itself. See an example. ![]() Is there any possibility that you would create a light Classic Shell for Windows 7 where the only options would be the "positioning of Start Menu"? Thank you! |

No, I'm not making a special version that has a single option. There are hundreds of options so that would mean I have to make hundreds of versions. Just don't change the other options. |

There is already an option Show next to taskbar (when the taskbar is vertical) on General Behavior tab. Isn't that what you are asking? ![]() |

OK, I understand it. I installed Classic Shell on Windows 7 and will see. The purpose I wanted that is because I hope that there is hied settings in OS maybe which let that positioning. Because ater I installed it now there are kinda 2 different Classic Menu in the system. And the Classic Shell one (even though I have already set all options so it would look like the OEM) still has its flaws. For instance when I move a shortcut from All Programs so it would be pinned (Display Zoom), for some reason that shortcut is really moved (cut and pasted) and therefore is missing in original folder instead of just being copied. Maybe any of you guys can tell me if there is hied settings in Windows registry which lets you to "Show next to taskbar (when the taskbar is vertical)" for original built-in Start Menu? Thanks. |

You can right-click and select "Pin to start menu (Classic Shell)". You can also hold down Ctrl to copy instead of move. I don't think the original start menu has a setting to move it next to the taskbar. |

Dragging a shortcut creates another shortcut, doesn't move it. If you hold down Shift, it is moved. If you hold down Ctrl, it is copied. |
