On my new notebook I will have separate users. I would like to have each one have limited (different) options on the menu. I can do this with everything but.. Programs. Can I make a limited version of programs available in "Programs".. ie.. if I delete a program in say one menu / user is it deleted in all of them? Kind of scared to try this without some degree of being able to retrieve something. :o

Thanks for your time

All program shortcuts are stored for individual users in:

C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

or for all users in

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.

You can move shortcuts from one user's program folder to another user's folder to make them available only for that user. You can move the common programs to the all users programs folder.
