Short cut Win+ keys quit working on one Windows 8 Pro PC. Particularly Win+E, Win+D. Sometime the keys are erratic. And, sometimes it takes a very long time (many minutes) for the PC to respond. I did have both a external USB hard drive and USB memory stick attached. How can I fix this problem? Thanks for all your great work! /Howard |

If you exit the start menu (right-click on the start button, then Exit), does it fix the problem? |

The Classic Shell work perfectly today. The problem was that an external hard drive was plugged into the USB 2.0 port. When that occurs the short cuts don't work; for example, Win+C launches the calculator. So, there is an unintended problem. Thank you! /Howard |
