I'm using the latest Classic Shell, and dollar signs have begun to appear in the Start Menu with no explanation. I'm using Windows 8. What do Dollar Signs mean, and how does one get rid of them? |

That means something didn't install correctly. Uninstall it and install again. |

The $ sign shows if the INI file which stores the localized text for the Start Menu is damaged or missing. Reinstalling Classic Shell should fix it. |
