Post subject: | How do I stop a custom start button fading to white? |
Hello! Potentially answered a million times/nooby question but I've been unable to source the answer. I've set my start icon to a custom image, it looks great I've resized it to 58 which was the best size for it astheticaly, however, when I mouse over it; it fades to block white! Which is super ugly. I've looked around in settings and have found no immediately obvious setting for this. I just want to turn it off, or just have it fade into the same image as a work around. Anyone know what I'm blathering about and know how to stop it? ![]() Here's a shonky image of what I mean: ![]() Non moused over = Great. Moused over = BLEURGH. |

The Start Button image must contain 3 states of the button: Normal, Hovered and Pressed. Like this: And the image must be a 32-bit BMP or 32-bit PNG (24-bit + transparency). Use an bitmap image editor which supports 32-bit PNGs or 32-bit BMPs. |

Fab, thank you. Knew it was probably something blindingly obvious. |
