First, thanks for this nice piece of software ;)

Tried to dig about this but found nothing that seemed relevant. I'm under 8.1 pro / 64 (french), tried repair, uninstall/reinstall, maybe I simply missed to tick the right option? At each windows startup, the 4.0.2 classic menu settings shows up, not a big annoyment but a little itch, not finding the thing :D

Thanks in advance for any kind of help!

Does the settings window show up automatically on startup or it shows when you click the Start button? If it shows when you click the Start button, then your registry permissions may have got messed up. The settings are stored in the registry and if they are denied write permission, then the initial style may not be getting saved.

Is it possible that you placed a shortcut to the settings in your Startup folder?
