I just started using CS and I love it. I read somewhere you can disable the Win 8 Charm bar via classic shell. Is this true? If so, where do I find that option? Thanks Donna |

Right click the Start button -> Settings -> check the "All Settings" checkbox and then go to the tab called "Windows 8 Settings" (or Windows 8.1 settings). Set Disable active corners to All. This disables the Charms bar on the Desktop for the mouse. Charms remain operational inside Metro apps. They will also still work if invoked using touchpad gestures. To disable the touchpad gestures that activate Charms, look for some setting provided by your touchpad drivers in the Mouse Control Panel. |
