After numerous searches narrowed and broad, I can't find a post or thread that'll lead me to how to install a skin. I just want the "smokey glass" one that 4.0.2 came with. No help in the READ ME either. This seems to be a major functionality that many will take advantage of. I even did a serach in the "skins" portion of the forum to no avail. This would be a simple stock F.A.Q., wouldn't it?
I'm thinkin' I have to past one of the files in CS's 'Skins' folder to somewhere else but can't find any directions.
How's this done?

Love the Shell, glad it's here, worked very 1st time w/o a reboot on Win8.1 Pro
Thanks in advance,
Halogen Sky

You change the current skin from the Skin tab in the settings. Keep in mind that depending on the style you will get different sets of skins. For example the "Smoked glass" skin is only available in the Classic styles.

If you have a 3rd-party skin that you downloaded from somewhere else, you need to place it in the Skins folder. After that it will appear in the list of skins to choose from.

So the sequence would be:
1. Right click Start button to open Settings
2. Switch to Classic with two columns style from Style tab (or single column if you prefer that)
3. Tick the "All Settings" checkbox at the top.
4. Go to Skin tab and choose the Smoked Glass skin.
5. Click OK to save settings.

Also, if you downloaded a skin from the web, copy it to C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\Skins and then switch to the appropriate style (Classic or Windows 7) to set it.
