Hey guys, I was wondering if the newest version supports Windows Server 2012 Essentials. I was rather hoping it would considering it already supports 2012 and 2012 r2.

Thanks for the help.

It would most likely work. Try it :)
And report the results here.

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get a definitive answer on whether the newest version will work on Server 2012 Essentials? As a responsible admin, I am not going to experiment with a client's server potentially breaking some functionality, who knows. So I would like to know (if its known at all) first, if possible.

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't have access to Server 2012 Essentials and I can't give you a definitive answer.

As a responsible admin you should have a box (maybe even a virtual box) where you can run such tests without breaking your client.

Yes try it in a Virtual Machine like VirtualBox or VMWare Player (I know you don't get Hyper-V with Server 2012 Essentials). Both these are free.
