Hi Gaurav; I'm once again having a Sort by Name issue. I've tried a repair install (which worked last time), and have uninstalled CSM and reinstalled to no avail. The menu sort is in reverse order and won't re-order using the sort by name command on the right click context menu. In Settings, the Main Menu tab is showing "Sort the main menu in Z>A order" in bold font, but the box is unchecked. Any insight into this minor issue would be greatly appreciated. Hi again Gaurav; I repaired this by going to the settings, Customize Start Menu, and right clicking the Program Icon on the left pane tree. "Sort the main menu in Z>A order" was checked here, but not on Main Menu tab, where the "Sort the main menu in Z>A order" was still shown in bold with the box unchecked. There is a minor issue somewhere, but my specific issue is now fixed. Sorry for the bother. Regards; Sarris |

Hi, same problem (sub-menu in reverse order Z>A; "sort by name" on the right click context menu has no effect). In Settings, "Sort the main menu in Z>A order" is in bold font but unchecked. I repaired unchecking "Sort A>Z (for sub-menus)" in Customize Start Menu If I check "Sort A>Z (for sub-menus)", "Sort by name" (right click) make sub-menus order Z>A. "Sort Z>A" unchecked in both case. If unchecked, "Sort by name" works fine in sub-menus. Thank you. I've CSM 4.1.0 italian translation, on Windows 8.1 64 bit. |

I'm also having a sorting problem, not sure if this is the same problem... When I click the CSM and then click on All Programs, this list of programs has gotten horribly unsorted. Is there some easy way to resort that A-Z? I tried the Sort Z>A checking and unchecking that and it had no effect. And this was under Main Menu, not Customize Start Menu for me. |

Right-click on any item in the All Programs list and select "Sort by name". It will do a one-time sort. |
