Hi guys,

I've been using classic shell for a while now and vaguely remember an option to turn off the start button on my second monitor.

I've searched furiously for the setting to change this in the latest release on windows 8.1 as I find it frustrating having two start buttons.

I know this might be trivial but if someone could help that'd be great.

On Windows 8, there was no Start button, that's why there was an option to add a second Start button to the secondary monitor. On Windows 8.1, the Microsoft Start button is there regardless on both monitors so at the moment, Classic Shell can only replace it on both or not replace it. The option to hide any OS Start button was never implemented.

Ah okay, I thought that might be the case.

It's great that Microsoft listened to their customers, but it's pretty funny how they took the requests for a start button completely literally.

Thanks anyway :)

With Classic Shell 4.0.5, there is a new setting in Classic Start Menu for Windows 8.1 to only show the Start button on the primary taskbar.
