Version 4.0.0 running on Server 2012. Is there no way to suppress the logoff confirmation dialog, so that clicking Start, "Logoff" will immediately log the user off?

Yes, look for the "Confirm Log Off" setting. You can use the search at the top of the settings box to find it.

BTW, it should be off by default. Do you remember turning it on?

Thanks for your reply. But search within settings for confirm log off, log off, or confirm yields nothing at all. I do vaguely remember seeing this option and I think I did [stupidly] turn the confirmation dialog on...but now I can't find it to save my life. Wasted a lot of time looking.

Looks like the setting is not accessible while you are in Windows 7 style.

Try this: Go to the style tab and temporarily switch to a classic style. Then search for the setting. Uncheck it, then switch back to the Windows 7 style.

Yes! Perfect. In Classic style, it's right there on the Special Items tab, and the setting sticks after changing back to Windows 7 style. Thanks so much. We love Classic Shell!

The new version 4.0.1 has the "confirm logoff" option available in all styles.
