I have just updated from v3.6.8 to v4 and all seems to be O.K. apart from the fact that I can't seem to be able to 'Drag & Drop' Folders anymore. When I highlight the Folder to Drag and then move it to a Different Folder (Move nVidia Folder to Media Folder) the Black Line appears that makes it look as though you are dragging but when you get to the folder you want and Drop the folder, Nothing Happens, it doesn't move. Is there anything I need to do in the New version to get this working again, is there something that needs to be done to get it working ? I'm using Windows 8 ENT (not 8.1 yet) p.s. Is v4 STILL in Beta and there are issues, should I should STILL be using v3.6.8 ? Thanks for any help |

No, 4.0 is stable and bug-free for general use.  I am using it on Windows 8.1 Enterprise too. Right click any folder inside All Programs and make sure that "Auto Arrange" is not checked. "Auto Arrange" will be located near the bottom of the right click menu (or inside "Organize Start Menu" item). |

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, Auto-Arrange was on. I 'Un-ticked' it but I still couldn't move Folders around by Drag & Drop though. If you have any other ideas ? |

In Start Menu settings -> General Behavior tab, there is an option "Enable Drag and Drop". It must be on (but it's on by default). Check if you accidentally turned it off. Also, when you drag, if the black line appears, it means it will be moved in between the two items where the black line is. You must drop on TOP of another folder to move inside it. |

I have managed to sort this now. When I changed to the older type 'skin' the Drag & Drop feature started working again. So, I'm now a happy bunny. Thanks for your help with this. |
