Hello, after the update from Windows 8 to 8.1 i have the windows button in the taskmenue. How i can get the classic shell button now? Thanks for your help. |

I have the same problem: Classic Shell's start menu button won't show up when I log in to my account even when I have chosen it to start automatically from settings. When I manually start Classic Shell the button shows up. Is there a solution for this? |

You need to run the installer again and do a repair: http://www.classicshell.net/faq/#general_win81 |

After the Repair installation, if the button does not get enabled for some reason, then you can right click on the button -> Settings and check "Replace Start button" on the Start Menu style tab. |
