my task bar keeps freezing, I have to reboot. my desktop seems to work ok. I had the same problem with 3.6 and 4.0 |

Are you saying that if you uninstall or exit Classic Start Menu, the problem goes away? |

You need to provide more information, like what version of Windows you are using. And as GauravK said, verify that the taskbar doesn't freeze without Classic Shell. It is possible your problem is caused by something else. Also it will help if you can capture a crash dump as described here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6 If there is no crash and the taskbar still freezes, use the command "procdump explorer.exe" while the taskbar is frozen. |
