I installed Classic Start Menu 3.9.5 on Windows Server 2012. I selected the "Windows 7 Style" but made no other customizations. When I open the menu, it contains an element "<No Text>" between "Music" and "Recent Items". The hover text on the item is "Play and manage games on your computer." If I click the item, nothing happens. I can go to the "Customize Start Menu" tab and set this item to "don't display this item". However, I think this should be done by default, rather than require every user to make this change. |

The Games item is in the default menu layout because many people want it there. Looks like it is missing on your computer, is that right? |

Yes, the Games special folder is not there in Windows Server. It should be hidden from the default Customize tab list if Windows Server is detected. |

Old post yes I know, but we have 2012 server, same thing, controlling settings via GPO ADMX, and games are removed on RDS, how do we hide this option? |

Go to the Customize Start Menu tab in the settings. Find the line that says "Games" and either delete it, or switch it to "Don't display this item". |
